Music Production
Music Composition and Production, Recording Arts and Electronic Music
Curious students who want to create original songs and beats can study one-on-one to develop music technology and production skills. Through weekly instruction and mentorship, students will build fundamental skills in Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Logic, GarageBand, and other popular music production software. With an emphasis on popular music, students will learn how to combine songwriting, composition, and core musical concepts with harmony, rhythm and melody while developing their own original projects. Production topics may include beat making, sampling, basic mixing, recording techniques, and creative audio effects. The primary goal of these lessons is to encourage original music creation through a hands-on learning process with real-time guidance and feedback, while building technology skills through a creative experience that is both enjoyable and rewarding.
