BAND

Students enrolled in lessons at Honolulu Music Lessons Workshop now have the opportunity to play in a student band! Check out some videos and photos below of our recording sessions and concerts. This is the culmination and maturing of our lessons program as students who have studied their instruments for a long time can take that next step to playing in a band. This is a hugely fulfilling and exciting opportunity for these students.  We have rock bands and guitar ensembles for different age groups and will be adding other ensemble groups later such as strings ensemble. If you are taking lessons and progressing, the next logical step for some is to play in band and participate in student concerts and recording sessions and this opportunity can be highly motivating and give our students a tangible goal to work towards in their daily practice. Playing together in a group can result in rapid musical development and can greatly increase a student’s confidence both musically and socially. Bands are formed at the beginning of each school term so we have Fall Band, Spring Band and Summer Band with flat rate tuition.  Contact us for pricing.
